SSE....Applying Technology...Improving Performance

Manufacturing - Design, Manufacture, Deliver, Service

The design, manufacture, deliver and service functions have been grouped together in what some companies call product lifecycle management (PLM). PLM reflects the concept that so much information is shared among the above processes that the race to market requires these activities be planned and implemented in parallel rather than sequentially. That means that managers and workers must, as a matter of course, have a degree of awareness, knowledge and understanding that exceeds the requirements of their specific job. This has dramatically increased the demand for training within the manufacturing sector.

Manufacturing - Design, Manufacture, Deliver, ServiceWe believe that our SSE Blended Learning Methodologyprovides manageable chunks of content through a variety of delivery methods designed in a manner consistent with the needs of a manufacturing organization. Approaches and learning tools will be different as the learning audience varies from senior executives, to line managers to factory workers. Much of the content will be delivered so that individuals can learn at a time specifically convenient to their schedules. As the situation requires, SSE will develop interactive sessions to test the learner proficiency and structure communities where the audience can share feedback and address specific company-related problems.

In addition to enterprise related manufacturing training, SSE can address specific "best practice" requirements of individuals' jobs and roles. This type of training insures that "how to" knowledge does not leave the company with retired, transferred or terminated employees.
