SSE designs education materials to maximize the benefit of the Web while accommodating its technical limitations. Carefully blending the flow of imagery, audio, animation, interaction (simulation, scenario-based role-play, and discovery learning) is the art of designing instructionally sound content that will perform despite bandwidth constraints. The success of striking a careful balance is critical in that too much media will not technically perform to user's expectations of interacting with the Web, and too little media will result in a "page-turning" experience.
SSE has developed libraries of standard elements that serve as the foundation for many of its interactive learning solutions.
